Here a few updates - personal, global… klangal? Yep, totally a word.
Anyway! You might have noticed that things have quieted down a little bit recently. Some of you know that I was vacationing all of last week, but as of today I should be back at work, send you screenshots, development details, high brow jokes, and so on.
Instead I decided to get the flu, as I heard that’s very fashionable right now. Before you worry, I’m already over the hill, but obviously I can’t really leave the house any time soon. When you got a cough, social distancing is the way to go even more so.
This means I’ll be working from home for a while. And that means it will be a bit more difficult for me to stay on top of what’s going on in the office - or well, actually I know what’s happening in the office, because Klang has been very ahead of the curve, and has already started switching over to home office a couple of weeks ago. So what’s happening there? Dust settling on things, I imagine.
That does absolutely not mean production has come to a halt. By cleverly only employing giant nerds, dorks and geniuses, we could transition into home office life pretty smoothly. Our Slack channels might look kinda chaotic to the untrained eye, the office stashes of candy and toilet paper probably have been looted, but SEED is continuing to grow every day. It’s just me that’s a bit behind the curve. (On that note: flatten that curve and stay home if you can, please.)
So! We’re trying to keep business going as usual, but as this is my first day out of bed and I’ll only get my work computer delivered later today, I’m a bit behind on stuff. I already saw some little bits here and there, but before I can explain to you what’s going on I need to find out what the heck is happening in SEED right now myself.
I won’t be able to take sneaky photos of people’s screens for a little while, and I suspect our Instagram stories might feature my cats instead of the usual office doggos. I and some other Klangers might get a little bit weird from being cooped up at home.
I expect to get used to this new setup quite soon, and be able to share how our development process is going as usual/even better. But I apologize for what will be probably another a little bit quiet week in advance.
